Du Pont de Vicq

Intro by Campsite...  'Camping du Pont de Vicq En Périgord is located along the Dordogne River, at the gateway to the Perigord Noir or 'Black Perigord'. The campsite is situated between the towns of Périgueux (50 km), Bergerac (35 km) and Sarlat (35 km). Nearby, visit the area's numerous castles, caves, chasms and prehistoric sites, and enjoy such delicious local specialties as foie gras and confits.

At the crossroads of the four Périgords, midway between Bergerac and Sarlat and at the gateway to the 'Prehistoric Valley', the campsite is ideally located to discover the Périgord's major sites of interest: Les Eysies, Sarlat and Lascaux, as well as the astonishingly rich medieval heritage of the 'Country of Fortified Villages'. The campsite covers 5 ½ hectares, with 100 m2 camping spaces separated by hedges. Choose between fully-shaded, semi-shaded and sunny camping spaces.'
